Since its formation in 1992, the Hyperion Ensemble has developed a wide repertory of tango music and has been performing over 450 times at festivals, theaters, tango parties, and concert halls all over Europe.

The ensemble has collaborated with various bandoneonists, such as Luis Stazo, Alfredo Marcucci, Daniel Binelli, Josè Luis Betancor, Peter Reil, Hector Raul 'Tito' Cartechini, Marisa Mercadè, Massimiliano Pitocco, Gilberto Pereyra, Veronique Rioux. These fruitful collaborations have added another dimension to the Hyperion Ensemble's already intense, artistic character.

In May 2004, Hyperion has produced the show "Boulevard Tango" with four couples of dancers, which has been performed in several Italian theaters for the last two years. In summer 2005, the Ensemble has taken part in two shows: "Tango Nuevo" with Roberto Herrera and "Tango Metropolis" with Claudio Hoffmann and the renowned bandoneonist Daniel Binelli.
