The choreographers and dancers Celine Ruiz and Damian Rosenthal are part of the "Tango Nuevo" movement, which started in the 1990s. They have been working together since 2000 and since then have been discovering the laws and infinite possibilities of this dance.
Their work is distinguished by the constant search for movement and new dynamics, and by great expressiveness and thatricality. Their dance moves and captivatesd the audience. It is like a journey through the most intimite feelings and emotions of the two dancers.
Celine and Damian are known for their good didactics and they teach in Europe, Argentina, the US and Asia on a regular basis. Their teaching method is based on intensive training of technique and musicality, through which they display the discovery of the infinite possibilities of this improvisation dance.
Celine and Damian were part of various great tango ensembles, among those was the "All That Tango Company", directed by Sebastian Arce and Mariana Montes. The have been invited to numerous tango festivals in Argentina and abroad, e.g. the world's biggest tango festival CITA in Buenos Aires. They've also been working together with great musicians such as Richard Galliano, Nestor Marconi, and Juan Jose Mosalini.
Since November 2008 they've been working on their own show "Pulsacion n°1."
